Geyser Gunner Water Ride
With the Geyser Gunner Water your you can be the first team to ride a water geyser to the top while battling other teams with high volume water guns. Concentrating the water gun spray on a central target makes the geyser raise your team. Fire on other teams to keep them from rising high.
The Geyser Gunner is an interactive water ride for the whole family. Riders are lifted into the air on a fountain of water, as they battle with water guns. A concept completely designed, developed, engineered, and prototyped by Horizon Three Industries. The Geyser Gunner will soon be seen in water parks around the world.
Teams of two guests are buckled into seats that are mounted in a shallow pool. Each guest has a seat-mounted water gun, which can swivel left, right, up and down. A target in the center of the pool responds to water pressure when hit by the water gun. There are two ways to use the water gun. First, a concentrated stream of water on your own target causes a geyser to raise the seat of the person hitting the target. In addition, if both teammates hit their targets, the geyser will raise the seat even quicker. Second, by hitting another target corresponding to an opponent’s geyser seat, that team will be doused with so much water from the back of their seats that they cannot maintain concentrated fire on their target, slowing their upward progress.
Once a team reaches the highest point of the geyser lift, approximately ten or twelve feet above the pool, it is rewarded with a ringing siren or bell and flashing lights. It will remain floating on top of the geyser until the ride time expires. Other teams will continue to battle to reach the high point, if they make it they will also be rewarded. Once the ride time expires, all geysers lower the teams to the start level.
Thematic treatment of the pool may be simple to none, or it may be highly treated or themed. The ride may be configured for two, three, four, or six geyser chairs in one pool. Based on a three-minute ride and a minute for load and unload, a four-seat Geyser Gunner ride would entertain 120 guests per hour.
